Body Reading 101: Skills from The Rolf Method of Structural Integration

Idiosyncratic (no apparent reason) or non-pathological pain has an origin that is nearly always NOT the symptom our clients tend to be distracted by. By pulling aside the veil of “normal” and educating our ability to see movement, structural alignment and postural patterning, we can go to the source of the issue and offer our clients lasting change that directly addresses both the cause and the symptom. Discover the often hidden mechanics of the body and the ways we can instantly change ourselves and our clients.

Lauren Bailey, ASI LMT,  is an Advanced Certified Rolf Method Practitioner and Licensed Massage Therapist since 1996. Her background includes 10 years certification as an Egoscue PAS and Pilates and Therapeutic Pilates. She trained in early gray scale ultrasound, worked as a Medical Assistant in the ER, OBGYN and Radiology. She was an instructor of Communications and Business/Ethics for several years at LCC Massage Program. She teaches CE workshops and classes in Body Reading and myofascial manipulation based on Rolf Skills, for students of the body. Lauren is a natural teacher, bringing deeply compassionate humor and insight into the human condition.

Join us at 7 pm on Saturday, October 21 for our meet and greet. Mention OMTA to get a special room rate at the Shiloh Inn. A continental breakfast and full lunch is included in the event price.
